LTD type hoist consists of three phase asynchronous electromagnetic brake motor and body two parts.
The electromagnetic brake motor is a three-phase asynchronous motor with a DC electromagneticbrake, and anormally closed AC electromagnetic brake is installed at the upper end of the motorspindle. In the energized state,the armature of the brake is disconnected from the friction plate under the action of electromagnetic force toensure the normal operation of the motor. Under the condition of power failure, the armature of the brake is closedwith the friction plate under the action of the spring force, so as to realize the instant braking of the motor and theuse of the motor self-lock to prevent the sliding of the suspended platform due to the gravity of the load. |
| The electromagnetic brake is equipped with a half-ring release device, and the sliding handle isinserted into therelease device through the waist shape handle above the motor housing. When the handle is lifted up, the brakecan be opened manually, so that the suspended platform can achieve free sliding under the action of self-weight. |

The connection between the motor shaft end and the input end of the speed limiting mechanismin the box body is equipped with a centrifugal speed limiting device to prevent the suspended platform from stalling and falling when it is free sliding down. |
| The working wire rope penetrates into the body into an "α" shape and is wound in the trapezoidalgroove on the outer edge of the inner tooth plate. When the motor drives the inner tooth plate fordifferent steering operation, the elevator and the suspended platform move up and down alongthe wire rope under the action of the friction between the wire rope and the trapezoidal groove. |
